About First Pentecost
Welcome and thank you for wanting to learn more about
First Pentecost Assemblies International Church. We are a nondemoninational
ministry of Jesus Christ located in Harvey, Illinois just south of Chicago
and originally founded in 1964.
Inspired spiritually by the Word of God, and by our leader, Bishop Ernest
Owens, First Pentecost is committed to empowering others through biblical
teaching and faith based community outreach programs.
Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by ministering the good news of Jesus Christ as led by the Holy Spirit, and to empower God's people to develop a strong Christian walk of faith.
Open Your Heart and Renew Your Faith
One of the best ways to develop your faith is to connect
with other believers in Christ. There is a good chance that someone has
traveled the same road you are traveling today. Learning how God has shown
His grace to others and through receiving biblical teaching of Holy scripture,
your faith will continue to blossom.
